Dairy Farming

 

Text Box: Home Text Box: There are many dairy farms in Gordonton ranging from two hundred cows to one thousand cows. There used to be a dairy factory in Gordonton and the local farmers had to cart their milk in milk cans on a horse and tray, most of the farm work such as turning and stacking the hay was done by horse. You could also use a round baler but not many people had a round baler when the dairy factory was around.
