Olentzero
Olentzero is a celebration that takes place on December, the 23rd in our village, like in most Basque country's villages. That's the name of an old man living alone in the mountain making coal. He comes to town from his mountains to give the people the news of Christmas‚ forthcoming. He rides a chariot with horses and throws sweets. Then, everybody makes a parade, dressed with Basque traditional clothes.
