English as a Second Language (ESOL)

Being a multi-cultural school enriches us.  There is a small number who are ESOL students. These children are privately funded, or centrally funded from the Ministry of Education.   We employ a teacher and teacher aides to assist students who come from a language background other than English in either a one-on-one basis or in a small group for as long as it is required. The students will have many opportunities to practise their speaking, listening, reading and writing in specially planned activities.
